Scientists have received new copolymers for optoelectronics

Scientists have synthesized innovative linear and non-linear copolymers. New polymers react to the environment differently. It depends on solvents, temperature, etc. and gives a lot of different possibilities. Copolymers' physicochemical properties could be the key to new areas of optoelectronics, electronic devices and nanotechnology. It can be used in the low temperatures (down to –90 ° C).

The data obtained during the synthesis of polymers are also the basis for obtaining materials that can be used as thermoplastic elastomers with improved mechanical properties.

In addition, researchers are interested in polymers consisting of at least one elastomeric block as potential adhesives.
