The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has considered the appeal of the Union of Plastics Processors to the Government of the Russian Federation to amend the section "Chemical and petrochemical industry" of the National Competition Development Plan in Russia to conduct regular bidding polymers on the commodity exchange of JSC "SPbMTSB".
Currently, the FAS of Russia is holding meetings of the Exchange Committee, which is developing a draft order "On approval of the minimum value of petrochemical goods sold on the exchange, and requirements for exchange trades, during which transactions in petrochemical goods are concluded. ».
The FAS Subcommittee, together with its members, which includes the Union of Plastics Processors, is working on a list of petrochemical products that should be sold through stock trading, including polypropylene, polyethylene and other base polymers. The list of polymer brands that can be sold on the commodity exchange was previously provided by the FAS.
