“Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, PJSC predicts an increase in demand for LLDPE, HDPE and PP

As the information portal http://rcc.ru/ reported, according to the forecast of «Nizhnekamskneftekhim», PJSC, the demand for linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) should increase by 10% to 2020. The increase in demand is due to the planned commissioning of the “ZapSibNeftekhim” plant. At the same time, the export of these types of polyethylene will increase by 8 times - from 150 thousand to 1200 thousand tons per year.

Polypropylene (PP) surplus should be increased for two times, and demand should grow by 31.4% - to 1,594 thousand tons. At the same time, the growth of export shipments of PP can increase threefold and will reach one million tons.

The company plans to complete full transition to the production of LLDPE with the further development of export markets beginning from 2020.
